Rafaela

$219.00
SOLD

2024 • ACRYLIC & PLASTER • 16 in x 20 in • ALEPH COLLECTION

This piece takes its name from Amber Iman’s radiant role in the Broadway musical Lempicka.

Throughout this collection, I use diverse, biomorphic forms to represent how Autistic folks sometimes take in and process lots of minute details before the larger picture. “Rafaela” uses the print process colors of cyan, magenta, and yellow I use in my day job as a graphic designer to craft a rainbow from these organic shapes, creating an intersection between my queer and neurodivergent lived experiences.
