2024 • ACRYLIC & PLASTER • 18 in x 24 in CANVAS • ALEPH COLLECTION

This very 🌈 Pride-influenced piece stands apart from the rest of this series because it is the only one to have significant use of ultra-saturated, fluorescent colors. Additionally, it consists almost entirely of layer upon layer of just my biomorphic (“blob”) shapes. These organic shapes throughout the series represent all of our diverse intersections of perspectives and lived experience, but they play an especially clear role in this composition.

As a queer person, it is important to me to continue creating explicitly queer art to assist in diminishing the stigma that LGBTQIA+ people face each day.
